Shirikiana was formerly established in September 2022 as a CIO dedicated to supporting children and young people in deprived and/or inaccessible areas of the World who might otherwise be denied access to education.
However, this momentous occasion was far from a beginning for this project.
Charity registration under the newly adopted name of Shirikiana actually represented a recognition and a celebration of past achievements, and a way of continuing and developing the work of many fruitful years of support given by the charity’s founder Dean Brodrick to the Mukuru Outreach Academy and other educational organisations in Kenya.
Dean's vision is to extend this program to many more areas of the World where a small investment in education may make a colossal difference in outcomes for both local communities and the World at large...who knows what potential is hidden in the children of those far from convenient schools or universities or centers of early and advanced education?
